A Key Performance Indicator, or shortly Indicator, is a metric for the degree to which certain goals have been achieved. They serve as a means to identify potential goals and to measure them. Indicators in the Tygron Platform are created in Excel files. Each Excel file can be edited to create a fitting indicator for your project.
Please see our indicator tutorial below on more information about Indicators in the Tygron Platform.
Watch the video below for the steps on how to add an indicator from the Index to your project:
Don’t forget to read the corresponding manual for more information on additional configurations in your project for making the indicator fully functional. Also, refresh the indicator after making any configurations (see below). For more information about adding indicators, see our Wiki page. Still need help? Feel free to ask your question on the forum!
Read here how to change the properties of an indicator.
Every indicator has his own manual with the configurations that are needed. The manual can be found in the description of the indicator. After the configurations are done, make sure you refresh the indicator(s) (see below). Still got an error message? Please post a printscreen with the error message on our forum.
An indicator can be refreshed by hovering over the Auto update icon and in the hover panel clicking on Reset X queries. It is important to refresh the indicator when you have made any changes to the project, such as for example changing Function values or adding attributes.
Most indicators have a progress bar starting from 0 to 100%. The score can be absolutely or relatively calculated. Read more on our Wiki about the difference and determine what suits the use of the indicator in your project best.
We unfortunately don’t have time to customize every indicator, but you can adjust it yourself! Please see this Wiki page for more information on how an indicator is structured and how to edit it. Also, consider to upload the indicator to the Tygron Index if you think that other users find your edits useful.
Yes of course! Please register yourself as a creator on the Tygron Index. Then you are able to add your own indicator, a description and a manual. Read below on how to upload an indicator.
First, go to the Registration tab and fill in the form. By filling in the form, you become a creator on the Tygron Index. You will receive a mail with your username and to set a password. After we have approved your account, you will receive a new email that your account is activated.
Now you can login with the link from the email and you will see a dashboard. Here you can either edit your personal information or upload an Indicator (product).
Go to the Products tab and click on Add New.
Fill in the Name of the Indicator and below a description. Make sure that you either add here or in a separate file the configuration instructions, if they are needed for your Indicator.
In the product data section, choose for Simple, virtual and downloadable. Set the Regular Price to 0.
Currently it is only possible to offer free indicators on the Index. Add the indicator by uploading the excel file and optional another file with the manual, set the limit and expiry data to unlimited and never.
Go to the Inventory tab and check the Sold individually box. Users will then only be possible to add this indicator once to their cart.
Go to the Attributes tab. Add the attributes (additional data needed, use of overlay(s), additional configurations needed and suitable for). Choose options from the drop down menu. When you are done, click on Save attributes.
Add the Production Short Description. This is the description that is visible when you browse the indicators.
In the right panel, choose one or more categories that your indicator belongs to and add one or more images.
Click on Submit for Review and you have succesfully submitted the indicator! You can always go back to the Products tab in the left panel and edit the product. After we have reviewed the indicator, we will publish it and you will see your indicator on the Tygron Index!
